Winter Carnival 2011 Opening Ceremonies will be held at the American Legion in Winthrop. The Winter Carnival Royalty will be announced.

Cocktails 6:00, Dinner 7:00, Sylvia and the Magic Trunk 8:00. Wendy Crump, DJ 7:00-11:00 with a Slideshow of Highlights from 2010 Winter Carnival throughout the evening.

The Poker Ski and Snowshoe Run will be held at the Brasher State Forest. The run starts at the gate on the Vice Road and ends at rear of DEC Facilities. Participants will turn in their cards at the end of the course and winners will be notified by phone.
